I’m “O.K” at a lot of things, but I feel documentary work is made for me. My empathetic eye, observational skills, and genuine love for human connection is what makes documentary in all of its mediums so vital to the way I interact with the world around me. It has become the avenue for me to meet new people, learn from them, and help tell their stories. I also just really love human beings. Friends or strangers-they’re one in the same to me. I find their stories and aesthetics so valuable I can’t help but capture them if I have the ability to. Film photography has been an exciting venture in capturing people and places in their truest form. The photos you take are limited, and the roll is expensive. It's really cool for me to see the results of those quick photo moments; Even if they're not exposed correctly or framed as I would want, they permanently stand as a genuine snapshot of that moment in time.
