I have always found ways to express my creativity, whether through dance, painting, drawing, or otherwise, and honeythreadsco is my latest endeavor. During July of 2020, I launched my Etsy site after months of embroidering canvases and old sweatshirts for fun. I began by designing and selling my own designs, and I now create custom pieces for individual clients as well. I personally try to buy a lot of my clothing secondhand, as the fashion industry is such a major source of pollution and waste, so "upcycling" secondhand clothing, by embroidery and giving clothes new life, is a way to express my creativity and encourage sustainable fashion. The intersection of art and environmental activism has always been a passion of mine and I have loved making affordable and recycled pieces of art that people can wear in their everyday life.
